In Her Boots

KVCR was awarded a $5,000 grant that will be used to promote a new public television documentary which KVCR will broadcast on Tuesday, November 11 at 8:00pm.

KVCR will offer a screening opportunity to view a portion of the documentary Unsung Heroes: The Story of America’s Female Patriots which is an inspirational saga of unrecognized courage and sacrifice that touches every community in the nation. It’s focus is the many women that served their country.

Every woman that has ever served in the U.S. Military has volunteered to do so.  Today, more women serve our country than at any time in history.

Reflections on War

KVCR is proud to work on the Reflections On War project. ROW is a series of first hand accounts from local war veterans. Their stories of fear, valor, tragedy, and friendship both teach and inspire us, as we recount these events with the people who lived them. This project is working to serve the Veterans in our viewing and listening community.
